Industry: Research Position: Bilingual Account Manager Job Type: Full Time Location: New York, NY Salary: DOE Visa Sponsor: No Language: English and Japanese Job Description We are looking for an experienced Account Manager who is fully fluent (verbal & written) in Japanese and English to assume responsibility for expanding our presence in the marketplace. Our proposition is a mix of single reports, subscription services and consulting projects sold predominantly to the Energy, Professional Services and Healthcare marketplace. The Core Responsibilities Effective management of the relationship between client and company within your assigned book of business Negotiate renewal subscriptions with existing clients. Identify and create growth opportunities within the existing client base. Achieve and/or exceed quarterly sales revenue targets. Communicate and demonstrate the full suite of services to new clients and to close new business. Actively engage with team members to develop positive team dynamics. Manage the pipeline of business from sales through the delivery lifecycle. Desired Skills & Experience The Scope Of Experience & Qualifications Two to three years of comparable account management and/or consulting experience. Fluency in speaking, reading and writing in Japanese and English languages required. Bachelor’s Degree. Knowledge of Japanese business etiquette, customs and culture. Proven ability to engage with C-level decision makers and coordinate activity on major accounts. Strong quantitative skills, comfortable with corporate and market statistics, financial databases and other aspects of market research analysts and consulting. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently Willing and able to work a flexible schedule to accommodate clients’ normal business hours. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets Ability to travel for extended periods of time. Open to the possibility of relocation.
